Replacing my last Ubuntu server with fedora 20.

Replacing my last Ubuntu server with fedora 20. Trying net install for the first time. Looks good so far. Maybe I should have put a sleep 3h command into my other server before I did a wget of knoppix. Oh well. 26 Celsius and its 10pm in Cape Town. Gplus relaxing in a deck chair next to the pool. Life is good. #notwinter #whatsapolarvortex #fedora

What was the issues with Ubuntu Server that Fedora solved?

None. Just tired of downloading updates for 2 different distros. Also tired of typing yum on Ubuntu or aptitude on fedora. All my servers are headless so they look mighty similar from juicessh or putty. If I was forced to say which I liked more it would be fedora because of recent community issues on Ubuntu. I could also consider debian or centos as long as I can get plex working on it.
Ian Stoffberg  I understand that.  Wanting to run the same thing.

As for people and sh!t storms in the community, I think that we're always going to have that.  As open source get's more people involved there are going to be more opinions. I don't think that's going to change.  People are messy with opinions, etc.

I've got a Debian PC, Xubuntu, 4 Mint, and a Salix based PC in my house. I'm going to use the software that works best for me and the situation, etc.
