Just took a new character through the first stage of The Division until the start of the Base Building.  Did it with more XP and also more confidence.  Died once, which was unnecessary  #bummer I was just about to get up and watch some TV and saw Good Guys Gaming GGG jump in.  I immediately exited uplay to prevent being sucked in for another 3 hours ;)  I still need to fetch my wife, dammit.

Haha that was just for house keeping. Here are the tips:
1 - Go get everything from the Rewards Claim Vendor.

2 - Go to your inventory, equip the best gear you have in each section (for weapons DPS).

3 - Dismantle everything else for crafting materials. (Crafted items are always better thsn those you buy)

4 - Go to your Stash, repeat 3.

5 - Go to the crafting bench and see what better stuff you can make. Repeat 3 if you get better stuff made.

In general, repeat 3 anytime you find new equipment. You'll dismantle it if lower than what you have. Equip if better and dismantle what it replaced.

This works great for me.

Was looking at the price tag for the division. Seems a bit steep. Do I need just the base game or do I need the season pass as well

Ronan Young it was half price not too long ago. I don't think we are doing the dlc yet.

Ronan Young base game is fine Ronan. Most DLC is missions that we are way to far from doing.

Ian Stoffberg Each character should have access to same purchased awards. However it seems once you claim the cosmetic stuff it all goes into the Appearance ab in your Inventory.

Best way to know, take your new character and check ;)

So, in the spirit of Elite Stories, thought I'd share my perspective of last night. We had barely met and there we were suiting up and using our limited funds to buy guns, ammo and gear for the mission we'd been thrust into. It wasn't an honour we'd earned. Others had died, we were next. There were no reinforcements. Nobody was coming to save us. In fact, quite the opposite was true. We were going in to rescue a squad who were sheltered and taking fire. They had sustained heavy losses and couldn't hang on much longer. We headed purposefully down the streets, checking our guns and making sure we had our grenades and medpacks on standby. It was brutal, but we made it to the rendezvous, battling past waves of patrols sent to stop us. We were in trouble, but there was always a teammate to lend a hand or a hail of bullets. Unlocking Hera Tani This is just so pointless. 4 trips for no good reason other than waste time. It's probably going to take me 4 days.
