So I am slowly making my way back home to LTT 4961.  Sag A was Monday,  Great Annihilator was Thursday, and 5 minutes ago I found my first Neutron Star.  All of the above were previously discovered of course.  I am currently locked on a Herbig AE/BE system.  Have no idea what that is ;)

It's a big, rare unscoopable. I discovered my first one the other week.

As you head back facing the Bubble there are massive fields of NS below and to the right of the direct route, around 1000Ly below the galactic plane, which can really boost your exploration profits. James Dominguez told me about them and might be able to give you a starting system.

Most of the EESHOVY AW-N systems are NS, BH, or carbon stars, with a few scoopables filling in the gaps. That's in the middle of an enormous NS field about 12kLY from the bubble.

Wow.  Hope its on the way...

Literally millions of them in that field. It's hundreds of light years long and deep, and THOUSANDS of light years wide. Total breakdown of the galaxy generation software, but an awesome payday for explorers.
+Ian Stoffberg If you are still close to SgrA* and the Great Annihilator then you are still close enough to visit one of the neutron star fields. I'm currently on an outward journey to the field at PHROEA PLOE OI-K D8-872
Here's a link to another great guide to the neutron star fields:
