I love how I can ask a question that makes sense to me in the moment, but is so obviously open to multiple interpretations.  What I meant to ask, was what other games are on on the playlist when you guys get together?

At the moment Planetside 2 and Doom as everyone has that. If Justin picks up Battlefield 4 we can also do that.
Spacetoy recently mentioned The Division also.

Ok. Will start BF4.  I've been utterly useless at that in the past, but if we can get more GGG people on a server, perhaps it will be less painfull than being sworn at by 9 year olds.

I play a round or tow of BF4 most evenings and now that I have got my head around Battlelog, the Class I like to play and the correct loadout I must say it is very rewarding.
Run with me as a scout with sniper rifle or we can try Assault (but mid range Assault). All about playing the way you want. It is NOT COD!

Must check everybody's usernames on origin/steam.   I tend to play as a dumb grunt with an assault weapon of some kind.  you're the kind of guy that's normally killing me from across the map!  Seriously though, times work a whole lot better for me when the UK has only 1 hour difference.  I think its 2 now.

I like assault also. But Sniper to start with, learn the map and controls. The upgrade packs are good if you just want to have a weapon without grinding. I took advantage of the recent Origin sale to but the Ultimate Upgrade pack which unlocks all weapons, abilities and vehicles as i want to play not grind. This has allowed me to try out everything and perfect what I want. of course you could do that on the Test Range also for nothing.
I'm GITBOTV on Origin and most other places.

BF4 has completed downloading and its done 2 of the expansions.  Probably won't have them ready later...

Unlocking Hera Tani This is just so pointless. 4 trips for no good reason other than waste time. It's probably going to take me 4 days. So, in the spirit of Elite Stories, thought I'd share my perspective of last night. We had barely met and there we were suiting up and using our limited funds to buy guns, ammo and gear for the mission we'd been thrust into. It wasn't an honour we'd earned. Others had died, we were next. There were no reinforcements. Nobody was coming to save us. In fact, quite the opposite was true. We were going in to rescue a squad who were sheltered and taking fire. They had sustained heavy losses and couldn't hang on much longer. We headed purposefully down the streets, checking our guns and making sure we had our grenades and medpacks on standby. It was brutal, but we made it to the rendezvous, battling past waves of patrols sent to stop us. We were in trouble, but there was always a teammate to lend a hand or a hail of bullets.
